Will Grayson, Will Grayson

This is one of my favorite books. I love the story and the way it is written. The characters are great and funny. The book wasn't at all what I expected it to be, it was way better. I fell in love at the very beginning and I will find myself rereading this book in the future. The writing was beautiful, the pacing was great, and the storyline rocked. It kept me entertained and I never once got bored.

The title of the book says it all, and it's  fun to say and very memorable. The cover is really cool, but it almost doesn't match the story. I wish it had two guys or something on it.

I would most definitely read this again, and tell my friends to read it.

Windchaser by Krissi Dallas

The story was one that was unusual but had a familiar feel of sci/fi fantasy with the alternate world aspect. I enjoyed the world building of the island that most of the story took place on. I think the author did a wonderful job of describing and making the island real. The magical powers that pertain to the Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water were fun to read about as well.

The writing style was fun but also kept well with the feel of the story. The book was very fast paced and I wasn't able to put it down. I was able to follow along with ease.

The main character was a great character. Strong, determined and loyal. She did upset me at times with the tug of war with her best friend's heart but not enough to drive me crazy with frustration.  

The cover is really pretty, I love the colors and think it fits well with the story

Overall I really liked the book as a while, the story, the characters, and the world building. It was a great read.

Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter

I absolutely fell in love with this book, I read two pages and was caught. I couldn't put the book down. I honestly  didn't think I would like it much, but it was recommend to me so I thought I would give it a try. It really was an amazing read.  It's not slow at all and it kept me wanting to read more and more and more. The book is based around the mystery of Kylie and why she can do what she can do and I couldn't wait to find out all the secrets. In the end, I still didn't know and now I must read more of the series.

The main character is a bit whiny at first, but she's written well and she gets better. She learns to deal with her issues and embrace the paranormal world and along the way make some really good friends.

The title fits in with the story and the  cover is absolutely beautiful, I love the colors and it fits well with the story.

I want to read the rest of the series, and can't wait.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by David Levithan



I was very excited to read this book and I must say it was a bit of a disappointment. I love both authors but this book just didn't do it for me.

I would have liked this book much more if it weren't for all the cussing. The story is interesting but I had a hard time really getting into it and relating to the characters. . The characters were kind of annoying and could have been written better. I know for past books that both of these authors have done an excellent job in the past and could have done so much more. I just couldn't dig it for some reason.

I don't think I'd read this book again.

The cover is pretty cool, I like how it's a heart with headphones.
